The IBAN is structurally valid (mod-97). Unknown bank codes return bankName null. Existence of the account or acceptance of a transfer is not claimed — your bank is the source of truth.
IBAN build form Turkish national bank / EFT code is 5 digits (e.g. 00062 Garanti, 00064 İş Bankası, 00046 Akbank). Positions 5–9 of the IBAN. Look it up in your bank’s internet branch or EFT list if unknown. Up to 16 alphanumeric characters. Short accounts are left-padded with zeros to 16. Spaces and hyphens are ignored. Letters are uppercased. TR + 2 check digits + BBAN. Check digits use ISO 7064 MOD 97-10; mod97 on the electronic format must be 1. This page BUILDS — for validation use TR validation / IBAN tab.
